arT: "When you play with so much strategy, you can't see much of what's happening"

The Brazilian in-game leader wasn't happy with the number of set strategies FURIA used on their T side.
FURIA are off to a rough start at IEM Dallas, where Andrei "arT" Piovezan and his men lost their opening best-of-one on Inferno to OG. The Brazilians brought the map back to a full 30 rounds in the end, but lost after clawing their way back from a slow start on the attack which put them at a 4-11 deficit at the half.

HLTV caught up with FURIA's in-game leader after he and his team were knocked down to the lower bracket, where they are set to face off against Nouns, to hear about his thoughts regarding the poor T-side showing and where that puts his side moving forward in Dallas.
You lost your opening match to OG, what went wrong on that map for you?
I'd say it's mostly the T side.
Yeah, pretty similar to some of the issues you had at the Major, the T side was a recurring problem. Is it the style switch-up that's an issue for you?
Yeah, we actually changed up a lot of stuff, so it's all different. It has a lot of problems that we don't have before that just happen.
What would you say some of those problems are?
For me individually it's fine, but I don't know how the other guys feel Andrei "arT" Piovezan on FURIA's new styleIt's hard to say because when you play with so much strategy, you can't see much of what's happening. We did a lot of "ready" strats from before the matches, so whenever you're doing strats from off the book and you are not adapting that fast, things get too easy for them to read us and it's rough to come back after you lose some rounds in a row. It's a lot of things.
Something KSCERATO told me at the Major was that the rest of the team felt they were adapting pretty well to the new style. Would you say the issues you're talking about is something you're struggling with specifically, or is it the whole team?
It's hard to say, I don't know exactly. For me individually it's fine, but I don't know how the other guys feel, it's different for everybody.

Right now and especially after the Major, there's a lot of conversation about whether FURIA are making changes or whether that is something they're exploring. Do you have anything to say about that?
I don't know what it's going to be exactly after this event, I think we're going to have the player break and we're going to talk about it, but I don't know. That's all, I don't have any more comments about that.
This loss means you're in the lower bracket. How are you feeling given that loss and going into the next match?
Yeah it's tough, the first match loss is always tough. We need to get way better in the next match, otherwise that's it, that's GG, but we still need to improve our game a lot and very fast. Otherwise, it's going to be a bad tournament for us; we need to adapt faster.
